Correct or not?

Is it wrong to say : Some people work such long hours that they may ache from stress.?

I know that it is common to use 'suffer' in such context. A non-native speaker told me that we cannot say "a person aches from stress". I told him it is correct to say so. Am I right? Is there an entry from a dictionary where I can find "ache" used in this way?
