The conversion to indirect speech is correct, but in everyday speech we do not commonly use "much" in affirmative sentences, only in negative and interrogative sentences. " Adam told Rose that he had watched a lot of TV recently. " which are fine.

The conversion to indirect speech is correct, but in everyday speech we do not commonly use "much" in affirmative sentences, only in negative and interrogative sentences. Instead, we would say e.g.:

"I've watched a lot of TV recently."
Adam told Rose that he had watched a lot of TV recently.

"I haven't watched much TV recently."
"Have you watched much TV rece
