Correct or not

When I have money, I spend them buying hardware and software.

Is the above correct?

Top answer

Hello Andrei You would say: 'I spend it on hardware and software'. 'To spend' already contains the idea of 'buying', in this context. 'Money', like *** and Coke, is 'it'.
