Correct One

Hi all,
I would like to ask your opinion on a certain sentence. And eventually, find the perfect way to write it down. So, here goes...
"Although I am a fervent believer of the idea that English pretty much like math, it is not science at all, so there is always some leniency."
"And since that I am a fervent believer of the idea that English pretty much like math, is not science at all, there is always some leniency."
Which one is accurate? Or, what would be a more accurate way?
Thanks in advance...

Thank you for your response.

Can't I use "leniency"? Is it wrong?

What about this one? Is this wrong gramatically?

"Since that I am a fervent believer in the idea that rap pretty much like hip hop, is not a decent form of music, there is always some discomfort in my ears when I hear it."

Ah, sorry. I misread your original, which should read:

I am a fervent believer in the idea that English, pretty much like math, is not a science at all, so there is always some leeway.

'Leniency' makes little sense to me there, though you may well have another idea in mind.

- Actually, your previous entry was the correct one.

"I am a fervent believer in the idea that English, pretty much like math, is not a science at all, so there is always some leeway."
