Correct my sentences please.
Dear teachers,
1. I was paid 25 dollars by/from abc company.
2. We were chosen for this job. Does this mean officers have put them into that job?
3. He found dead in a/the lake.
4 Responds/reply to the problem. Are they interchangeable if not please do tell me why?
5. 40 calves have been saved/rescued by the slaughter. If saved and rescued can't be interchangeable please do tell me why.
