You need an article or something with "brain". You need a comma to mark the end of the introductory phrase. Some would say not, but I don't like "damaged personality".

"Hereafter" is used wrong. I suspect you mean "in the hereafter", that is, the noun and not the adverb. The statement is faulty. You're saying that there may be unintelligent life after death? What might that be? Also, "intelligent life" means something else in the popular imagination. We speak of the possibility that there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe.

I like where you're going, but if you qualify what sort of life there may be after death, you water your conclusion down and sound silly. The desire to hedge your bets is understandable when pontificating about such profound topics, but make a choice and say it loud. Maybe, "If the brain is damaged, personality changes. This proves that intelligence dies with the body."
