"Each type of members performs each type of functions"

By this line I wanted to mean that particular type of members performs particular type of functions. For example, this type of members performs this type of functions and that type of members performs that type of functions.

e.g.

X type of members performs A,B,C type of functions

Y type of members performs M,N,O typ

will this line, "Every type of members performs specific type of functions" be correct?
