Don't introduce me as your brother.

He never loved her. (in the past)
He doesn't love her. (in the present)
He never shows her any affection.(he doesn't act as though he loves her)

Now your luck is changing, so believe in yourself and make the most of it.
Now good luck is coming your way, so believe in yourself and try to grab it.

I'm wondering why you didn't ask/didn't you ask her name after saying those kinds of things.
Either version is possible, but I prefer the first.
