Can you correct my following essay according to the IELTS criteria for writing task 2?
Deciding the best way to choose the students for the high schools is problematical. Now there are two main solutions for this issue: comparing the school report of the students and using the mark of the high school entrance examination. From my viewpoint, the second option is more reasonable on the grounds of the following reasons.
Firstly, it reflects the true pupil's ability of studying at secondary school. When some students learn at secondary school, they may cheat at some exams with a view to getting higher marks in the school result. This seems unfair for others who try their best to have their real scores. The entrance exam not only omits all of these problems, but also selects the appropriate students for the high schools.
Secondly, it creates chances equally for all of the students. For illustration, few students don't have good results in lower grade. However, they learn concentratingly in the final grade and are still admitted to top high schools. If these ones had used the result of study during secondary school years, these kinds of students couldn't have entered their desired schools.
In conclusion, though considering the studying reports also have its own advantages, I believe that taking examination is still a better way for the high schools to pick out the best students.
