ESSAY: “Clothes shopping”.



Do compulsive clothing shopping and addiction go by hand?

It is not rare for women that purchase clothes compulsively to forget what they need or just what they really possess. These people believe that the more the shop, the more they will feel better. In reality, compulsive shopping leads women to an addiction.



I remember once entering my aunt’s bedroom in which there were wardrobes filled with piles of clothing that had not been worn for the first time and also they still had their price label. As soon as she came in, I picked up one piece of clothing and asked her why she did not wear it and her reply was that she did not remember that she had it.



The next day, I went with her to shopping center to purchase a shirt which apparently she needed it urgently. When we were out of the shop, she was tempted by other piece of clothing .Without thinking twice, she bought it spontaneously. As soon as we came back home she begged to me to hide the truth of what she really bought. She previously had told my uncle that she went to buy only a shirt and not more.However, my uncle had discovered her lie; he found on the table the credit card ticket. As a consequence that leads to worse their relationship.
