correct me please

My Job
I am an artist. You do not need to major in anything if you want to be an artist however you must have the talent. If you can paint, sing, write or dance then you are an artist. I wanted this job because I love art and it means a lot to me.
------------
My House
I live in a villa. It is in the east of my city. Our villa has more than 12 room. What I like about my house is that it is a bit old-fashioned although it is a new one. I also like the swimming pool despite the fact that it is a small one.

Thanks a lot.

I wouldn't really call 'artist' in the sense that you use it a job.
