There are 2 types of education in Indonesia, such as Formal and Non-Formal Education.00 00Formal education means students 00 00have to learn every subject while Non-Formal education is like a course where students learn specific skills.02br

00 00The Government of Indonesia have a compulsory education for children, every children must have a 9-years-compulsory education [ Primary Education ], it has 3 grades of school such as: Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary. Students start their primary education in Preschool, Elementary School and Middle School. High School or College are Secondary, because after they graduate from Middle School they could decide to take High School or going to the college to improve their skill to be ready in work world, and the last one is Tertiary Education, it means the students enroll to the university and will learn the specific major. There are many areas to concern about the education system in Indonesia, for example : Lack of classes, Academic Specialization, and Facilities to back up the curriculum..02br

00 00First, There are many schools in Indonesia cannot 00 00provide enough classes. So, too many students in the class causes the activities are not 00 00effienctly. Moreover, there will be a big gap in the class between smart student and the slow student. But there would be some positive effects, the students could study and learn together.02br

00 00The next area is Academic Specialization, this area would improve the student skills and prepare the students to have a deep knowledge of the specific subjects. The cons of this system is the student would forget the other subjects that they have learned before because they learned too many general subjects in High School.02br

00 00The last but not least the problems that was faced by Indonesian schools, they do not have enough facilities to support the curriculum. For example : Laboratories, Fields, Swimming pools, and etc. Yet, some of private school or uni have a lot of facilities to backup the curriculum. So, their students could learn very well but mostly of Government Schools do not have enough facilities.02br

00 00In conclusion, there are many aspects that could affect teaching-learning activities in Indonesia, it should be better if the government spend more money in education sector to increase the education quality in Indonesia. 02br
