This is my version of the text: Anonymous We used (1) to have great family holidays when I was younger. There was always something (2) interesting to do, such as going to the beach, playing football or going on rides at the fair. In the evenings we went to restaurants, and both (3)my brother and I enjoyed ( 4)staying up till late at night, listening to (5)the adults talking around the table.

  • This is my version of the text: Anonymous We used (1) to have great family holidays when I was younger.
  • There was always something (2) interesting to do, such as going to the beach, playing football or going on rides at the fair.
  • In the evenings we went to restaurants, and both (3)my brother and I enjoyed ( 4)staying up till late at night, listening to (5)the adults talking around the table.
  • I is always capitalized and must be used in my brother and I since no grammatical reason justifies me in that position.
  • I wouldn't use the continuous past tense in (4) because the reference is to repeated action.
