Correct me if I'm wrong

Howdy!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I guess that the following sentence should be changed a bit:

You have to know who do you think is most authoritative.

Shouldn't it be said: "You have to know who you think is most authoritative" ?

Thanks

Yes, but it still contains a tautology: You have to know what you know. »

Yes, but it still contains a tautology: You have to know what you know.

So I'd say: «You have to know who is most authoritative»

Anton

EDIT: My other suggesion is that one of the pronouns has to be changed, i.e:
«_I_ have to know who you think is the most authoritative.»

Your are correct to omit "do". I don't know the context, so the sentence could be OK as it is. I would suggest "realize" or "decide" instead of "know."
