Dear friend, the choice you are supposed to make is that between the subjective case (I) and objective case of the personal pronoun. Traditional rules state that in such examples as the one you have mentioned I should be used, but the facts of everyday usage say that me is becoming increasingly acceptable, so, in informal context, which most probably is your case, me is the standard option.
