Correct grammar?

I read a book this morning and I encountered this statement saying "Please sent as against payment of charge."

Isn't it supposed to be "send" instead of "sent"?

Is it just a typographical error? Or that statement does make sense?

Hard to say. Books don't usually have typos. Of course it's not a sentence. It may not even be a statement, either with "sent" or with "send." More context needed.

It sounds like someone who doesn't speak English wants an amount applied toward their account.
