correct form of the verb

Hello,

I have to fill in the blank with correct form of the verb given in the brackets.

1. Mummy _________ (cook) dinner. Let us sit down.

(is cooking)

2.The cat ___________ (drink) enough milk, don't give it more.

(has drunk)

3. Quick! get into the car. I __________ (start) the engine.

(have started)

4.Mummy _______________ (allow) me to go out to play because my wound _______________ (heal).

(allows) (has healed)

My choices are in the brackets below the each question in brackets.

Are they correct?

Thanks.

My only suggestion would be for #1. Perhaps she has cooked might be better. I might add that one does not 'cook' dinner, but rather 'fixes' dinner.

imo "will allow" will be better in No. 4.
