• People have different views about what the objective of education should be. While some people suppose that it should focus on training students to become useful members to society, I would argue that to make indivisuals accompolish their goal or desire is a much better option.
• On the one hand, there are some clear benefits of turning indivisuals into useful citizens. The first one is that it tends to lead people to make more meaningful contributions to social development. For example, instead of getting a job with high salary in a large city after graduating from a great university, many young students in various fields like medicine, economics, construction have the decision to go to remote areas to help and develop poor communities. Furthermore, members of society become to get along with others when prioritizing common goal. This also directs them towards moral behavior, so everyone always has the peaceful life without selfishness and aggression.
• On the other hand, I believe that it is much more significant to help students gain success and achieve their dreams because of several reasons. Firstly, it is true that people can be happier when pursuing their ambition as well as doing what they like. Consequently, they always keep motivation and passion in their work, so they can create remarkable results in their domain. This point can be demonstrated with the case of scientists who are devoted to their career of coming up with great inventions being beneficial to entire society. Secondly, if a person reaches the zenith of success, he will have a favorable condition to help the community. For instance, Roger Federer, a success story in tennis, started his own charitable foundationto assist in providing sports and education to children living in poverty in southern Africa as well as Switzerland.
