Correct English? Liner or Lining?

0 At work we have 'Door Linings' which come in packs and they make up the frame of the doors.02br
00To me, with my imperfect english, this sounds incorrect, I would call them a Door Liner until they are fitted and then when fitted they become the door lining?02br
00Am I way off the mark?02br
