Correct Comma Use and Latin

Hi

I'm finishing up a paper, but I am in doubt in my commas have been placed correctly. Here is an example of a sentence I am having doubts about:

1) "She is a very nice person. However sometimes she is busy in which case one should not disturb her".

Does there need to be a comma after "however"? Another sentence is:

2) "She is a very nice person i.e. she behaves well, talks politely and is very helpful".

Does there need to be a comma in front and after "i.e."?

Best,
Niles.
