Correct Christmas message?

Hi. Please tell if the christmas message below is correct or not. Does the sentence pattern like the one below calls for the subjunctive and therefore should it be written "I wish you had a merry Christmas"? But that doesn't sound idiomatic (to me).

I wish you have a merry Christmas.

LOL. No, it shouldn't sound right to you. It's too much like I wish you had had a merry Christmas, which means I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a merry Christmas.
