Correct choice between "face" and "look"

(1) Although I haven't seen Jack for forty years, I still remember his younger face.

(2) Although I haven't seen Jack for forty years, I still remember his younger look.

Which word choice is correct? Thanks.

ansonguy Which word choice is correct? The grammar is OK either way, but they aren't good choices. It takes more words, but here's a more idiomatic way to say it: Although I haven't seen Jack for forty years, I still remember [the way / how] he looked when he was younger.
