Correct Adjective Guidance

Hi,

I am looking for correct adjective guidance for a short story ,,

1)The male char is a nervous person,,always very tense and shy,,I am using "Lean and Jumpy" for him,,is there a single word which can convey both these words collectively?

2)The female char is opposite ,very confident and sophisticated,so i am using "svelte" ,can u confirm if it is correct ?

Looking forward for guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Rahul

I don't understand quite what you are trying to accomplish. Surely in the course of your story you will be using a variety of adjectives, including all of those and more.

I don't think you'll find one any sooner than you'll find one for 'tall and angry' or 'old and interested'.
