Correct?

He went to sit on the floor by the window behind some boxes and took out his phone and called the police.

1) Is this correct?

2) Would you place "on the floor", "by the window", and "behind some boxes" in the same order as I have?

Hi I think your sentence is good and the order of the phrases is good. I played around with different things. In a slow-paced description, you might have: - He sat down on the floor, by the window.
