There is no such thing as America corporation. Sorry.

It would have to be: (Large parts of) American corporations.

With that change we now have:

a) Large parts of corporate America
b) Large parts of American corporations

a) means large parts of the world of corporations in America, particularly management. It refers to the many CEO's, directors, administrators, financial experts, and many others within many corporations throughout the U.S. who are involved in the business of running corporations. This is an abstract concept.

b) means large parts of the corporations themselves. It may refer to an entire manufacturing branch of a corporation, or to the marketing divisions, and so on. It could even refer to physical entities such as buildings or real estate owned by corporations. It is less abstract in meaning than a).

Only a) makes sense in terms of being scared.
