There's not a cop in 20 blocks. Or

There's not a cop for 20 blocks.

Do both mean there's not cop around.

Both the sentences mean different things. The first one means that no cop can be found in any of the 20 blocks. The second indicates that no cop works for the 20 blocks in the said area.
