hey all...just wanted to know something...
is the statement : " copious amounts of testing was performed on the hardware" gramatically correct?
is "copious amounts" not redundant?

amounts is not redundant, it is superfluous. Omit amounts, not necessary

Using "amounts" after "copious" is not technically redundant. It is, however, superfluous. "Copious testing" is all you need.

A copious amount means a lot, but copious amounts sounds like more.

In my experience, the word 'copious' is not
