I am trying to understand difference between above two sentence? Can some one help me out.. what is the difference between separately required course and separate , required course?

It beats me what the difference is. It sounds about the same either way, though separately required doesn't strike me as a sensible thing to say any more than do separately understood, separately needed, or separately known. I don't quite understand what these could mean - required in a separate way from the way in which other courses are required? It seems to me that a requirement is a requirement, and that requirements can't be separated into different kinds.

I'm not saying you can't use it, because I'm sure it would be understood, but even so, the second formulation seems much less fraught with logical snags. The course is a separate course from other courses, and it's a required course. Much clearer.
