Hi teachers,1.  Bill O'Reilly, the top-rated talker on Fox News, interviewed Rhodes of the Oath Keepers in February and treated him coolly.&gt;&gt;  What does "coolly" mean here? 2.  ".....The Oath Keepers are not the system."  Wise words, but it's a sign of disturbing times that O'Reilly felt required to say them.&gt;&gt;  What does "a sign of disturbing times" mean?ThanksTinanam

1) Typically, cool-like; calm and composed. (In this instance, they are probably stressing that while O'Reilly typically would probably not be that way, he was in this situation.)

2) Something that is typical of the bad way things are now. They are saying O'Reily, typically, is not as soft/polite about these (ones that appose his view points) interviews and it is a "bad" thing that he was "forced" to say things about them in the way he did.
