Cooking collocations

Hello, could you help me with these cooking collocations?

Is this correct? The sentences are within a recipe context:

a)"Peel and slice the banana without unfreezing it".

b) Make sure the ingredients don´t become unfrozen.

c) Blend them FOR 5 minutes (I think this one is right)

d) Put the cap on the blender because if not the mix will get out. (this one does not sound natural, but the person has pre intermediate level). How should he have written?

e) "Put the blender at a maximum speed for five minutes" Does this sound correct? I think so.

f) "When you serve the strawberry smoothie, you can put ice into it". It does not sound idiomatic to me. But is it grammatically correct?

g) Can we use the word "mixture" when we are only referring to liquids?

(The meaning is unclear. I think you want to say "Before you serve the strawberry smoothie, you can add ice to it.")

a)"Peel and slice the banana without unfreezing it". (without thawing it)-- OR Peel & slice while still frozen. But have you ever tried to peel a frozen banana? My advice: peel it and wrap it in plastic wrap before you freeze it.

b) Make sure the ingredients don't become unfrozen. (don't thaw)-- OR Make sure they remain frozen

d) Put the cap on the blender because if not the mix will get out. (this one does not sound natural, but the person has pre intermediate level). How should he have written?
(Put the cap on the blender to prevent the mix from escaping.) -- To prevent the mix from spilling.

e) "Put the blender at a maximum speed for five minutes" Does this sound correct? I think so.
(Better: Run the blender at its maximum speed for five minutes.) This seems like a very long time to operate a blender! More like 30 seconds.

f) "When you serve the strawberry smoothie, you can put ice into it". It does not sound idiomatic to me. But is it grammatically correct?
(The meaning is unclear. I think you want to say "Before you serve the strawberry smoothie, you can add ice to it.")-- Add ice if desired before serving.
