My grandmother can cook stinky tofu.

Does the above sound right to you? Stinky tofu is a very special food here, but actually it's deep fried, not cooked. So I wonder if it's ok to say the above. Thanks.

It sounds OK to me: I don't have a problem with "cook" including deep frying. "Stinky tofu", on the other hand, sounds disgusting!
