Some of us think that people will learn more effectively if they try themselves. If they make a mistake, this may give us an idea of how to lead them to be able to construct the form for themselves.

I was teaching Word Processor once and said "There are various ways we can do this...". A young person said "Can we just do the way where you tell us?"

I have sympathy with that sometimes
