I think you'll have to be more specific. It will most likely depend on what the compliment is or what the wish is. It also depends on how well you know the person you're talking to.

thanks for the response, i want to know in general,if my friend compliments and wish me that "all that is my dream come true and i get a reputed position in future" in that case what should be my reply..as saying only thank u will not be good.
