Conversation

Could you confim whether the following conversation sounds natural? Also, I'd like to know which one sounds better between (A) and (B) there.

A: Wake up, Jason.
B: What time is it?
A: It's nine thirty.
B: Nine thirty? I am totally late for school!
A: [ (A) It’s Okay / (B) Don't worry ]. It's Sunday.
B: Sunday? Oh, Mom! Please let me sleep a little more.

Top answer

Yes, it's natural. Both (A) and (B) are normal and natural there. "totally" is used in a slangy way, but the use fits the context.

I see no reason to capitalise "okay", though this seems to be a fairly widespread practice. (The form "OK" is, of course, capitalised.)

Could I say just "Okay" instead of "It's okay" here?

"It's okay" is more likely there.
