In conversations, is this alright: You would do well to talk to those people. (I think would is right because it is a suggestion. Will is wrong because it may sound like he's predicting that the guy will talk to those people). Also in conversation: there are many who might identify with celebrities, only they will never reach such heights. (here, will is right because it pertains to the future).
#2 Just a little doubt. Is it 'evidence for such claims' or 'evidence of'? As in: his evidence for that claim was not very strong.
