Convenience Store?

0As fas as I understood from Wikipedia, this is the store, which sells mainly the first-need products. Typically these stores are located at the gas stations or at the roads. I was asked to compose the description of the accounting software for such a store. 02br

00I wonder what native speakers think of when they hear "Convenience Store"? Do they relate it to gas stations? Or does this term cover all the small shops which sell first-need products? If I call the software by "Convenience Store Accounting Software", will I be understood? [:^)]02br

0 When I hear of "convenience store" I think of stores such as Seven Eleven, Wawa, and White Hen. These are not supermarkets. They are franchises but smaller in size.

  • But I guess you could include quick marts attached to gas stations as well as any family owned grocery stores.
  • And yes, "Convenience Store Accounting Software" sounds pretty good to me.
