Control one's health

Can we say 'control one's health' when we want to say something like "keep healthy,""maintain one's health" and the like?

I don't think we control our health. We do control things like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. All of these are sometimes controlled by medication.

I don't think we control our health. We do control things like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. All of these are sometimes controlled by medication. Your other two offerings are much more natural.
