Grammar

Contraction (future tense)

Sometimes, it sounds to me that my English teacher speaks in a particular way... During the last lesson, she used forms as : wil + gerund (and not will be + gerund). After the class, I checked up on Google and I saw that such forms exist, for instance :
- willdoing ( = will be doing?)
- willsleeping (= will be sleeping?)
- willgoing to + infinitive (??? = be going to + infinitive?)
- ...

Are such forms accepted in nonstandard or substandard English ?

Thank you in advance for your information!

They are non-English, as far as I can see. I googled what you googled, and found typographical errors and/or possible blogger and rap slang at best. I doubt your teacher is using such.

  • Please listen again to your teacher carefully, and ask her at the time about what she said; you may be missing a heavily reduced 'be'.
