contracted form

Can we use the contractred form of was/were in the past continuous tense as in the present continuous?
e.g. She is swimming now= She's simming ...
She was swimming at 10 yesterday= She's swimming at 10 yesterday

Personally, I think it's incorrect because I've never seen such a form, but I've heard a different opinion from a non-native.
What do you think?

The 's contraction doesn't work for "was."

It works for is, of course: He's my favorite teacher. She's swimming right now.

It works for has: She's gone to the store. She's been to this pool many times.

It does not work for was. *She's swimming yesterday at 10. [N]
