I'm not sure I understand what 'contract steering' means.

Hi Ann If you are negotiating a contract on behalf of a company or organisation, you are expected to do the best deal you can, for the organisation, within the law of the country where you are working (and within the law of your own country) Sometimes this doesn't happen. The negotiator may get involved in bribes, favours, gifts and so on, in an attempt to influence the outcome of the contract award. That's known as contract steering Dave
