I know that it is not correct to say: " New year i will be celebrating with my family before midnight and then with my friends", but is it correct to say instead of I WILL BE CELEBRATING, I AM CELEBRATING?

Anonymous I know that it is not correct to say: " New year i will be celebrating with my family before midnight and then with my friends", "I will be celebrating" is correct. "New Year" and "I" are not correctly capitalised. I would say "At New Year", but some people might just say "New Year".

  • I would put a comma after "midnight".

Both are fine.

I [am / will be] celebrating New Year's Eve with my family before midnight and with my friends after (midnight).
