Context- explanation

hi guys

my name is rafal, I am new here. Greetings to everyone. I would like to ask you guys for help. I teach English as a second language. I would love to find some materials that would help me to explain the concept of context as far as learning vocabulary is concerned. I would like to make it clear to my students that in the context of homework for instance they should use verb 'do' do homework and not 'make'- make homework doesn't exist in English. I want them to know that they should use word ' make' when we talk about mistakes- he made a mistake but not ' he did a mistake'. Do you know any websites that explain the idea of context clearly?
