Context English of Baby's daily life

i wanna to create a English environment for my half year old baby, but i am so afraid that i speak like a book. i mean using complicated sentence to describe a simple thing instead of using correct phrase. For example,I might say "put the toy in its place" rather than "put the toy away".

Is there any TV series, videos or any kind of resources focus on daily life of baby, toddler or young children that i can watch first to get myself well prepared?

Thank you very much.

It is not important that your English be perfect; do not let that stop you at all from helping your child become bilingual. It is, however, important that you do one of these things: 1. Speak to the child only in English, never Taiwanese, always.
