Hi Clive:
I googled contrastive grammar - it is legit (Contartive is a typo). Basicly, it is comparison of grammars of 2 languages, the first being a native language, and the second, a language being learned. Here is a clip from one of the sources:

I don't know. I was thinking "at" as in "at 10 o'clock". That could be a temporal preposition I suppose.

But a temporary preposition is an entirely different animal. For example, I just happen to have the preposition "among" lying around at the moment. Would you

Hi Astars,

I didn't mean to suggest that I didn't think it was legit.

I just wanted to stress the importance of spelling. I also prefer to be asked a question, rather than to be presented with a complete topic and have to start guessing what the person already knows and doesn't know.
