Contact/contact with....Meet/Meet with..

Dear all,

Please clarify under what circumstances contact and meet takes preposition.

For example- I can say

1. I will contact you next day/I will contact with you next day.

2. I will meet you next day/I will meet with you next day.

2a. I will meet you next day. -- This means that you and I will come face to face at some location.

2b. I will meet with you next day.-- This means that you and I will sit down and have a reasonably lengthy discussion

First of all, you should not say: I will contact you next day.

Either the article 'the' is missing (I will contact you the next day) or you mean to say I will contact you tomorrow. Same for the verb meet.

Secondly in English, we "make contact with" someone. You can say "I will contact you" but you should not say "

You can say I will contact you next day, but I think using 'tomorrow' or adding the article 'the' makes the sentence clearer.
