Constructed meeting

The European Commission president described a “very frankly constructed meeting” with the U.S. president in Brussels, but insisted Friday it was not “aggressive” and the sense of Trump’s remarks had been lost in translation.

Could anyone explain the meaning of constructed here?

constructed = constructive?

Thanks!

constructed = constructive? 'Frankly constructed' means 'blunt', 'to-the-point', 'direct'. PS: Clive's is a more likely interpretation!

constructed doesn't seem to make sense here. I think the speaker meant constructive.

I think he is not a native English speaker.
