Constitute 25% of the

Hi,

If Mr A's deposit is 10% of total deposit of a bank and Mr B's deposit is 15% of total deposit of the bank, can I use "constitute" in the following sentence?

Sentence:
Mr A and Mr B's deposit constitute 25% of the total deposit of the bank.

uktousMr A and Mr B's deposit constitute 25% of the total deposit of the bank.
"constitute" does not agree in number with "deposit", and also it sounds as if Mr A and Mr B have a joint deposit. I suggest:

Together, Mr A's deposit and Mr B's deposit constitute 25% of the total deposits held by the bank.
