Constituent order

Hello,

I'm not very certain about the word order in the following sentence. There's simply something that makes it sound odd to me no matter how I put it, so whatever advice you can come up with, it'll be highly appreciated!

[1] The system provides relevant data for decision-making.
[2] The system provides data relevant for decision-making.

Sure, in [1] relevant is an attribute, whereas in [2] it's a complement, but which is better and more natural?

I don't know why I feel [2]'s not as precise as [1]. Maybe just the word "relevant" is not right here. What am I missing?

Many thanks for any help!
