constant barrage of criticism

Indeed that may be a more subtle form of propaganda than a constant barrage of criticism.

What does a constant barrage of criticismmean? (A metaphor? How to comprehend?Emotion: rolleyes)

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just found this example in the dictionary. That has to be it!

An overwhelming, concentrated outpouring, as of words:

a barrage of criticism.

(Stupid and lazy I had been to be content with a relatively small paper dictionary.
