Consonants

Hi everybody,

This page categorise consonants as 'voiceless', 'voiced', and 'other' consonants:

Does it make any sense? What is the meaning of "other"? I thought that there are only voiceless and voiced consonants.

Thanks for your answer in advance.

It is not well categorized. The writer put the nasals into "other" category but these are voiced consonants. htm

Yes, but don't forget what AS said: nasals are voiced consonants - at least in English.
